Just a heads up for people like me who have trouble discerning information that isn’t there or isn’t made explicit. If you have registered with BC Health and have received a SMS text notice that you are eligible to book your second shot, that same text message contains the necessary link to book online. The link is obvious, once you know that it is there.

I have added some text in red CAPS to the message you will get that may help you recognize the link and avoid a telephone line up (as I failed to do).

[NAME] you can now book your COVID-19 second dose vaccination appointment. IF YOU WISH TO BOOK ONLINE, CLICK ON THE FOLLOWING LINK. (THIS IS THE ONLY LINK YOU CAN USE TO MAKE THIS BOOKING AND ONLY PLACE YOU WILL FIND IT. DON’T BOTHER LOOKING ON OUR WEBSITE.): https://getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca/s/booking?Id=[CODE]

Please share this information with anyone who you suspect may be as incapable as I am at understanding govspeak. Thanks!

(I understand it is easier to find the link in the email version of the message, if you opted to receive your notice by that method. Hopefully they will get around to clarifying the SMS text message before too long.)
