
Capital Daily. If it isn’t already obvious (and for some people it appears it isn’t), change is not only coming but inevitable. For our communities and cities to remain as they are today would take significantly more modification of human behaviour than we are apparently willing or able to make. At least on our own without a crises as motivation. Our accepted forms of housing are only one of many factors that now create an issue. This article considers whether the detached, single family dwelling is already, necessarily, a thing of the past. (Yes, it sounds like hearsay.) And whether blanket rezoning of entire neighbourhoods, rather than individual properties is a good strategy for helping lessen our current and future housing problems. [ARTICLE LINK]
